3D & Experimental Textiles

Treat yourself to a creative day in the relax setting of the Wink at No 14, exploring the versatility of textiles. From using traditional techniques with a modern twist.

Experimenting with different fibres such as metallic foils and Angelina fibres. Textile artist Clare Spender will introduce you to both 2D and 3D textile techniques inspired by her work.

You will have a selection of experimental samples in a sketchbook that you will create as the day develops. By the end of the workshop, you can select a piece to be mounted ready for framing or have a 3D stand alone piece.
